Industrial Silica Sand 98% SiO₂
Washed and graded silica sand at 98% SiO₂ for glassmaking, foundry moulding, water filtration and construction.
Silica sand looks like a simple product but is bought to tight tolerances. Glass producers care about iron content because it colours the melt; foundries care about grain shape and AFS fineness because they govern mould strength.
We quote SiO₂ content, iron oxide, grain size distribution and, for foundries, the AFS grain fineness number. Sand meeting a filtration specification is a different product from glass sand, and the two are not interchangeable.
It is dense cargo, so containers reach weight limits well before volume. Sand is quoted delivered per tonne with the load plan stated.

Can one grade serve glass and foundry use?
Rarely. Glass demands very low iron; foundry demands specific grain shape and fineness. Tell us the application and we will quote the right grade.
Is filtration sand the same product?
No. Filtration media is graded to a different size distribution and uniformity coefficient and is quoted separately.
