Portland Cement CEM I 42.5N
Ordinary Portland cement, strength class 42.5N, for structural concrete, precast production and general construction.
42.5N is the general-purpose structural class specified on most commercial and infrastructure work. It develops adequate early strength for normal formwork cycles without the cost of a rapid-hardening class.
Cement has a genuinely short shelf life — strength falls away as it takes up atmospheric moisture — so we date-mark consignments and do not recommend ordering more than your site programme will consume within a few months.
Bagged cement in a container is straightforward; bulk cement requires pneumatic discharge facilities at destination. We confirm which you have before quoting, because quoting bulk to a buyer without a silo wastes everyone's time.

How long will the cement stay usable?
Roughly three months from production if sealed and kept dry. We date-mark consignments and advise ordering to your site programme.
Bagged or bulk?
Bulk is cheaper per tonne but needs pneumatic discharge and silo storage. Without those, bagged in a lined container is the practical option.
