Hot-rolled deformed reinforcing bar in Grade 500 for reinforced concrete structures, supplied in straight lengths or coil.
Grade 500 is the ribbed high-yield bar specified on virtually all modern reinforced concrete design. The rib pattern and yield strength are what the structural engineer has designed around, so substitution is not a commercial decision.
Every consignment ships with a mill test certificate giving actual yield, tensile strength, elongation and chemical composition for the heat. Tenders frequently require these, and we issue them with the shipping documents rather than on later request.
Rebar is dense cargo and reaches container weight limits long before it fills the volume. Bundles are quoted by diameter and length so you can plan the load and the landed cost per tonne accurately.
