Penetration Grade Bitumen 60/70
Harder-grade 60/70 penetration bitumen for hot-climate pavements, heavy-duty asphalt and high axle-load road construction.
60/70 is the workhorse binder across the Middle East, West Africa and the Indian Ocean islands, where sustained high pavement temperatures make a softer grade prone to rutting and bleeding. It is also the grade most often named in international tender documents.
The binder is supplied unmodified. If your pavement design calls for a polymer-modified binder or a specific PG grade, tell us at enquiry stage — we will either quote the modified product or state clearly that we cannot supply it, rather than offer a substitute.
Drummed 60/70 travels well and stores reliably for long periods, which is why it dominates project supply to landlocked destinations reached by road from the discharge port.
