Sodium hydroxide flakes at 99% minimum purity for soap and detergent manufacture, water treatment, mining and pulp processing.
Caustic soda flakes are the practical form for buyers without bulk liquid handling: they ship dry in bags, dissolve readily and avoid the freight cost of transporting water. The trade-off is that flakes are strongly hygroscopic and must stay sealed.
We quote to a 99% minimum NaOH specification with stated limits on sodium carbonate, sodium chloride and iron, since iron content matters in soap and textile applications where product colour is critical.
Caustic soda is a Class 8 corrosive. Bags are palletised and shrink-wrapped, and the container is lined to protect against moisture ingress during the voyage. The dangerous goods declaration forms part of the standard document set.
