Milled long grain white rice at 5% broken for wholesale distribution, retail repacking and institutional food supply.
Rice is graded principally on broken content. 5% broken is the premium commercial grade: visibly whole grain that cooks evenly and commands a retail premium over 25% broken, which serves the value end of the market.
Beyond broken percentage, buyers should confirm crop year, moisture, milling degree and whether the rice is sortexed. Old crop is cheaper but cooks and tastes differently, and passing it off as new crop is a common source of dispute.
Rice is hygroscopic and vulnerable to insect infestation. Bags are new woven PP, containers are lined, and fumigation certification is included where the destination requires it.
